My brother has had the most beautiful prom suit!

What is the best about sewing? I can make things I could never found in stores. And if I, by any miracle, find something extra special is usualy way too expencive for me to buy it. 

Last year that time I made one special suit. It was man's suit for my brothers prom. I didn't want him to be just one ordinary guy up there on stage. I wanted him to look something special. And since he is my favorite model to work for, I made special effort to create right suit for him. 

That is my twin brother and I :)

I had no prior knowledge of making man's suits but I did it anyway. We bought comfortable black fabric and smaller piece of gray fabric for some details. I pick beige cotton for his shirt (because his dancer allready bought beige dress and I wanted them to coordinate). I picked nice striped fabric and some petrol blue fabric for details on his shirt. I worked out even the buttons :)

My brother realy was something special on his prom dance. And I made a blue belt for the girl too. They were very coordinated with his dancer. And most important of all, my brother was very pleased with his suit, which made me very proud! :)

Long forgotten T-shirt...

I am a creative person! For sure. In my desire of creating I also learned to sew. About 4 or 5 years ago. And since then I love to sew. I have done some pretty nice stuf. For example:

And I am specially proud of those two pieces (actually three pieces). The first t-shirt was for my brother. It fits him very well and he loves to wear it. And the second dress I made for my boyfriends sister. Since she got her masseuse certificate she wanted me to make her first masseuse dress. There are the pictures:

But unfortunately I ran out of time sometimes and forget half sewed stuf somewhere deep in my closhet. And that's what happened with one lovely t-shirt. So I found it later, I finished it and since I don't feel like wearing it is ready for whoever wants it :)It's S/M size, lovely fabric with some cute details. Coment below if you like it <3

Darilca za fanta - birthday presents for my boyfriend

Že prejšnjič sem objavila delček darila, ki sem ga naredila za fantov 24. rojstni dan. 

Izdelala sem mu še izvirno voščilnico in ujemajočo se kuverto za 2 vstopnici za dogodek. V Zari sem kupila belo moško majico in jo poslikala s silhueto košarkaša, za piko na i pa sem spekla še torto. Vse to se je seveda moralo nekako ujemati. Omeniti moram še to, da je moj fant velik ljubitelj Lakersov in še posebej igralca s številko 24, Kobeja Bryanta. Tako da sta bili vodilni barvi pri mojem ustvarjanju VIJOLIČNA in RUMENA, kakor dresi Lakersov, in pa številka 24. 

Za majico sem si najprej izdelala šablono, katero sem narahlo s svinčnikom obrisala na majico. Pobarvala sem jo z barvami za tekstil, ki jih kupim v Prometeju v Ljubljani. 

So I made this t-shirt with silhouette of a basketball player. At first I made stencil of it and lightly outlined it with a pencil on a t-shirt. I coloured it with colours for textile.

Na koncu sem vse dele darila tudi lepo zavila, spet v vijolično - rumeni kombinaciji:

 At the end I wrapped and decorated all of the gifts, also in violet and yellow combination. 

Zvečer pa sem darilo predala v prave roke. Takole nekako je izgledal moj izredno zadovoljen fant ;)
